EcoPoint presented its updated product line

On January 10, 2025, EcoPoint presented its updated product line. It includes three RVM models: Outdoor, Indoor and Built-in, and a hand crusher for PET bottles and aluminum cans. Meanwhile, the company develops further. Promising directions include expanding the range of recyclable materials accepted, enhancing the housing design, integrating the Eco Point billing system with additional partner loyalty programs, and refining its optical waste sorting technology.

As Anton Turchenko, CEO of the company, noted:
After almost 5 years of research, development and testing, we are ready to offer the market "smart" points for receiving recyclable materials. In technical and economic terms, EcoPoint machines are a more effective solution than the conventional reverse vending machines. Thanks to AI, they can accept more types of materials. At present: wastepaper, PET bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars, and electronic cigarettes. Our neural networks can be trained to accept other materials. The dimensions of the loading bay of EcoPoint reverse vending machines allows people to return up to twenty items at a time, rather than insert them one by one. Our machines are among the first that do not only accrue bonus or loyalty points for recyclable materials, but can also pay out cash rewards directly to users."
EcoPoint RVMs have proven themselves successful when first deployed in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and the Sverdlovsk region. Among the clients who have already made their choice in favor of EcoPoint solutions are large tech companies, real estate developers, management companies of residential complexes, hotels, municipal administrations, and environmental education centers.

"Smart" points that “Recycle4Rewards” are a proprietary EcoPoint development. Both the housing and key components of the reverse vending machines have undergone extensive testing. Essential construction elements and mechanisms are patented. The company's specialists developed all software, including the user interface and, crucially, a cloud service. This system enables recognition of recyclable materials, processing of rewards, and allows operators to remotely monitor and update the RVM network.

EcoPoint RVMs require a floor space between 2 m2 (indoor version) and 6 m2 (outdoor), a 220 V 50 Hz electricity connection, and internet access.
